I explore a variety of educationally-based topics in this blog, Teaching & Learning in 6th Grade. My blog is hosted at the no cost Google-owned Blogger platform.
Making a Living
I am employed by Oakdale Joint Unified School district in Oakdale, California, as a sixth grade teacher. This is my only source of income.
So, you’re a blogger, huh?
Yes, I’m a blogger, though that may be a bit of an exaggeration since I'm new at this. I don’t get paid for blogging, nor do I advertise on my blog – although I do post about some products that are given to me when I believe that they would be of interest to the general K-12 online learning community. I don’t believe in advertising on my blog or making money from what I write. What I write on my blog is strictly for fun and sharing ideas.
I have not written for other blogs, and therefore have never received payment or compensation for anything I've ever written, online or otherwise.

Stocks: I own no stocks.
